One of the most useful things to know about copyright in an educational context is how to access works licensed under the Creative Commons framework. Work using this license can normally be used as long as you follow the guidelines of that license such as saying where you got the material from.

about using creative common pictures and videos to reuse and remix. I particularly like his idea of saving a picture file with the author's name and the name of the picture for ease of recognising that person when you use the material.
